TEHRAN The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Head Jose Antonio Samaranch sent a letter extending his gratitude to the First Vice President of Asian Fencing Confederation and the President of Iran's Fencing Federation, Mahdi Mohammadzadeh for his unsparing efforts and coordination with IOC.

The IOC chairman had also sent a diploma to Mohammadzadeh eight months ago in order to appreciate the Iranian top official for his attempts and services concerning the development of fencing in Iran.
